Local Outreach

We are committed to serving our local community in Jesus’ name. This can take the form of our own church ministries or cooperation with other Christian churches and ministries by sharing resources and volunteer partnership. We also encourage our members to be active in the service groups, community organizations and clubs of our neighbourhoods. We are convinced that ministry, service and outreach are normal components of a healthy Christian life whether in vocation, volunteering, recreation or family life. We are also committed to a balanced approach to ministry that includes compassion as well as evangelism.

We support student ministry including Lighthouse, care for neighbours including Cornerstone Foodbank, and youth outreach including support of several Christian youth camps.
